Seth C. Nix is a litigator who solves problems. Seth joined Douglas & Carter after gaining experience on the defense side of civil litigation with an emphasis on cases involving automobile liability, premises liability and wrongful death. He uses that insight to better represent clients who have been injured due to the negligence of others. Seth previously worked as a law clerk for a Jacksonville personal injury law firm focusing on cases involving automobile liability, premises liability, medical malpractice and nursing home liability.
In addition to assisting personal injury clients, Seth routinely handles family, business, employment and criminal cases. Seth obtained his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, magna cum laude. During law school, he received Book Awards (highest grades) in several courses including Florida Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure, Persuasive Legal Writing, Family Law, Admiralty and Maritime Law, and Property Law II. Seth received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina, where he graduated cum laude and was on the Dean’s List and President’s List.
In his spare time, Mr. Nix is an avid golfer and is involved in his community. Seth is an active member of the Jacksonville Justice Association.
